چکیده
Software Defined Networks (SDN) advocates segregation of network control logic, forwarding functions and management applications into different planes to achieve programmability, automated dynamic flow in next generation networks. It promotes deployment novel augmented have flexible, robust, scalable cost-effective deployments. All these features introduce new research challenges require secure communication protocols among the segregated planes. This manuscript focuses on security issue southbound interface which operates between SDN data plane. We highlighted threats associated with an unprotected issues related existing TLS based solution. A lightweight blockchain decentralized solution is proposed for resources logically centralized controllers distributed devices from opponents. The mechanism can operate multi-domain be used wide range plane devices. In addition it, analyzed terms features, reauthentication overhead.

Distributed caching with centralized control
The beneets of using caches for reducing traac in backbone trunk links and for improving web access times are well-known. However, there are some known problems with traditional web caching, namely, maintaining freshness of web objects, balancing load among a number of caches and providing protection against cache failure. This paper investigates in detail the advantages and disadvantages of a ...
متن کاملSecuring Distributed Systems with Information Flow Control
Recent operating systems [12, 21, 26] have shown that decentralized information flow control (DIFC) can secure applications built from mostly untrusted code. This paper extends DIFC to the network. We present DStar, a system that enforces the security requirements of mutually distrustful components through cryptography on the network and local OS protection mechanisms on each host. DStar does n...
متن کاملSCL: Simplifying Distributed SDN Control Planes
We consider the following question: what consistency model is appropriate for coordinating the actions of a replicated set of SDN controllers? We first argue that the conventional requirement of strong consistency, typically achieved through the use of Paxos or other consensus algorithms, is conceptually unnecessary to handle unplanned network updates. We present an alternate approach, based on...
متن کاملRenaissance: Self-Stabilizing Distributed SDN Control Plane
By introducing programmability, automated verification, and innovative debugging tools, Software-Defined Networks (SDNs) are poised to meet the increasingly stringent dependability requirements of today’s communication networks. However, the design of fault-tolerant SDNs remains an open challenge. This paper considers the design of dependable SDNs through the lenses of self-stabilization— a ver...
متن کاملCentralized Retransmission Management with SDN in Multihop Wireless Access Network
In this paper, a centralized retransmission management with Software Defined Network (SDN) is proposed in order to handle packet loss in multi-hop wireless access networks. The proposed scheme manages retransmission persistence for Automatic Repeat Request (ARQ) in all wireless links, which satisfies a delay constraint and maintains end-to-end throughput. Simulation results show that the propos...
